About the Zoo:
Looking for a zoo that won’t make you spurting even a cent? Do you live in Hawaii? Well, if your answer for the questions mentioned above is both “yes”, then your wish has been granted. Introducing, the Pana’ewa Rainforest Zoo and Gardens! You will surely love this zoo primarily because it does not require you to pay a single dollar for admission. All you have to do is go there and have a good time watching the animals! Please be informed that if you are visiting the zoo in large groups, you have to contact the zoo two weeks before your visit. If not, the zoo won’t be able to provide a staff that could assist you all throughout your visit.
If you think that you won’t get much fun and knowledge from Pana’ewa Rainforest Zoo and Gardens, wait until you see the most popular White Bengal Tiger named Namaste. Even more, there’s also a petting zoo that would let you and your kids have an “arm’s reach” encounter with the other animals like guinea pigs. There’s also a program called Tiger Feeding allowed that starts at 3:30 p.m. daily. Be informed that the zoo is not open every Christmas and New Year’s Day.
