The Fabric of Africa – Want to see some of the tallest animals of the world at face-viewing range? You can have a Safari experience while staying safely on the zoo’s covered area. There are various African animals like zebras, giraffes, aoudads and wildebeasts that you will see roaming around this little safari.
Tropical America – In this area, you will see the Rhode Island’s only “rainforest” in the premises of the zoo. You will see cotton-top tamarins and other monkeys freely roaming on the canopy atmosphere. There are also sloths and porcupines that will certainly get your attention.
Marco Polo Trail – This area portrays the journey of Marco Polo back in the days. Visitors will surely enjoy their trail along the multi-faceted exhibit and take sight of wonderful animals along the way.

Ticket Admission Price:
October – March: 10 am – 4 pm (last admission at 3:30 pm)
April – September: 10 am- 5 pm (last admission at 4:30 pm)
– On the last Saturday of June and the last Saturday of August, admission ends at noon and the Zoo closes at 2 pm to accommodate preparations for major fundraising events.
– The Zoo is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
